    Re: Golf Ball Retriever

C'mon, boys and girls. That ball you've just hit into the water betrayed you anyway!
Why on earth do you want to get it back???????

Let it stay in its watery grave. The sucker deserved it.

So I can beat it up some more for not doing what it was told. The sucker deserves it!
Golf is a game invented by the same people who think music comes out of bagpipes.

Some one told me never to play with people who have ball retriever in their bags.

They also told me not to play money games with people who have a 2 iron in their bags.
They did tell me by all means bet money with weekend golfers who dress like Tiger Wood or use those large and expensive tour bags.

i don't care about the ball that betrayed me.
i'm tryin' to retrieve that ProV1x that 'betrayed' one of the hackers in the foursome ahead of me. i'm convinced that it'll be more 'faithful' with my TLC!

Funny thing ... sometimes I'll be playing one ball for 14, 15 or 16 holes. Thing is, as soon as I think to myself "Wow, I've played with this ball without losing it this entire round. I might actually be able to play the entire round with just this ONE ball", that's when I slice it OB into never-neverland at the next opportunity.

You are not the only one with this problem. Happens to me too.
When I play golf, I always hit the ball really good, but then it always goes someplace really bad.

My golf balls are usually too far to reach with a retriever since they are usually in the middle of a pond or lake, I never have owned one.

I don't usually go looking in ponds or lakes, unless I know the ball was pretty close the edge. Streams however, are a different story.
