I'm sure Egowoods can vouch for this handy piece of equipment! And if you're playing at Lyndhurst, make sure to carry one in your bag, borrow if you must! They cost about $20.

Yes and I rarely use it so I don't bring it on the course anymore......lately it felt like I was just holding it for other ppl to use!

      good investment

You should bring it everytime you play. You never know when you are going to retrieve a Pro-V1 from the water.

yep, I've picked up some Pro V1's, Callaway HX Tour and some Strata Tour balls......I also lately noticed that I've given them away too!

Because I carry my stand bag, it's too much of a hassle to bring the ball retriever.....

i personally don't see the point of retrieving the balls...hehe...it takes too much time to look for it in the first place, if you know it landed in the water then just drop a new ball hehe...hopefully you don't lose a lot of balls or it'll end up costing you a lot of $$$, and if you are someone that loses a lot of balls i'm sure you won't be using the expensive balls in the first place...

I think the Ball Retriever is a great investment. Many times my ball just bounced and rolled into the water. With the ball retriever I am able to scoop it back out with little damage. Too bad it is still counted as a penalty. Mok, when you have a favorite brand of Golf balls you will wish you had a ball retriever.

Golf is about 40% luck and 60% skill! I think if I find a Pinnacle Gold Lady ball in the water I will feel lucky to have found it! I've lost plenty of those this season. :o
