Ground Under Repair (GUR)

Have you ever found your ball in a spot where the ground is under repair? Well its good to know that you are allowed to pick up your ball and drop it within one club length no closer to the hole without incurring a penalty. Also, if your ball is in play but your stance is in GUR, you may also take a free drop with the same restrictions without a penalty.

just as an addition to your thread......you see your ball has landed in a bunch of branches or leaves that is obviously all put together or raked by the groundskeeper, no doubt for them to pick up at a later time......what do you do? You can also use the GUR rule in a case like this.....
