$8,000 - $10,000 in initiation, 6400 yards, Stanley Thompson design all looks pretty good, but they do an excellent job of being sparse with the pictures.
As I can't afford to join at Deer Ridge or Westmount (), I'm left with Galt G&CC or Cutten Club. As Cutten Club is closer, I thought I would check it out.
Has anyone played there that can give me any insight? Or even better, some pics?

Ummm, I have...
it's a nice course that is undergoing HUGE changes this year. $1MIL in irrigation, the carnival ride that #18 is will be changed to reduce the slope as you can't see the green when hitting your approach. The pro-shop was burnt up last fall by an arsonist, so that's been re-done.
I like the course and it's reasonably priced, IMO. Drop them a line as they have a deal in which you pay $2500 (I think...) to try the course/club out for 1/2 the year and then you can either decide to stay, in which case the amount is applied to your initiation. If you walk away, I believe you get 1-1.5K back.
It's a much busier course than DeerRidge though, and isn't equity, so you can't measure them with the same ruler...
All in all, I like it there, but I would still lean towards DR if you can swing it. I'll see if I can get one of my contacts to get you out there.

I was a member at Cutten when I came out of university - they had a great deal for under-30s. It is a great little course, will test all the clubs in your bag. You do not have to be a bomber to play it, and the greens have their tricky spots, along with some subtleness to it.
Practice area was solid - I'm not a fan of elevated range decks personally. Clubhouse had a tendency to be a bit stuffy, depending what you are looking for.
The course itself was tremendous - even 18, with the uphill 2nd shot was a challenge once you got to know the place. 10 is a bear into the wind...

I havent played it years but the first green throws you for a loop wondering if all the greens will be that undulating. Thankfully, the rest are flatter.
Decent track that reminds me of Galt CC. Short but old school design with big trees and small greens.
