Hey Mule, I am originally from up that way and on my home last summer i decided to stop in and play Trillium but my word the first or 7 holes i coudlnt concentrate on anything but the mosquito's biting me in the behind. I loved the layout, shot a solid 78 as well from the back tees. But my word, any chance they might have the helicopter come in a spray?

Hey Hititlong,
I only play the twilight golf once a week. Early morning golf never seems to be and issue. But when you cut a course into woods as dense as they are in the area of the front nine bugs are going to be an issue. Once I light a Cuban up I never see them any way.
A lot of work was been done during the last year to work on the bug issue. Two years ago it was something else. Last year a lot of low level clearing was done which increased the ground level air flow. More work is being done already this year besides the paving of the cart paths, driveway and parking lot.

Thanks, bug juice will be in the bag.

OT: I see you are in Ottawa, I will also be up that way in September, any course recommendations? I have played Eagle Creek, thinking about Calabogie and 1 other.

Great greens and fun track but ask for the Lake/Canyon combination. Eagle Creek is at the top of the list but if dont mind the $$$ try The Marshes, unless you might be a clublink member then you might like Predator/Talon/Kanata Lakes.:D
Hard to say what type course you like but we do have over 130 courses within an hours drive.

A friend of mine is an assistant pro up there and he said Ottawa is just like Myrtle Beach for all the golf courses within such a short distance.

I am incredibly jealous. Then again.... we have far less snow here in south western Ontario.

Thanks for the info, I am aware of Pakenham and the Marshes, both of those are under consideration. I will probably play Eagle Creek again, love that course.
