Post your encounters with wild animals while golfing including any of those that you know of second hand.

Here's a news article about a pack of wolves at the golf course in Prince Rupert, BC (AKA City of Rainbows)...the course is located on the edge of the city along with many civic facilities and residential houses:

BTW, the average annual precipitation in Prince Rupert is about 8 feet...which is twice as much as Vancouver or Seattle. This is first city where I experienced horizontal rain, especially in the winter time (during the 60mph arctic outflow winds). Too bad that I didn't golf while I was living there.

I've seen squirrels, chipmonks, birds of various sorts, rabbits, fox, deer, gators, snakes and fish but never wolves on the course.

I have come face to face with both wolves and coyotes while hunting but wasn't concerned considering I was armed.

I've seen a couple foxes on my course... no no, the 4 legged furry variety of the canine family as well as rabbits and racoons. I've seen a deer and a fox at Osprey Valley's TOOT before.
