there are usually more than 20 in major championships....

with so many asians, it actually puts in perspective what sort of game they have in keeping up to the taller more "modern" profile an athlete.

Wife loves watching the game of these 5'0" - 5'4" players and seeing them crank their shots from the tee to green.

I recall a few years back, a few of us played at the Battlefield before the CDN Open. The single digit handicap guy shot a 87.

A few weeks later, at the same course, from the same tee, Mi Hyun Kim shot a 68.

Since then, they have all my respect.

South Korea must have one terrific development golf program for all of the success they are having on the LPGA. I have a buddy who was into Tae Kwon Do and went to visit family in SK. He couldn't get over how fanatical the practitioners were and how hard they practice (and hit!).

Amazing! ... but were the LPGA players playing from the Red/Forward/"Ladie's" tee? whilst you guys played from Battlefield's 'tips'?
Regardless, 68 from any tees is amazing.

With the immergence of players like Se Ri Pak and K. J. Choi on the pro tours, there has been a crazy emphasis on golf in S. Korea. And as the Korean people are with anything else, they take it very seriously and put in the time to elevate their game. They have also taken huge advantage of being able to come to the states to attend "golfer" colleges and universities, either under scholarships or not. With more and more ladies contending every tournament, it's not hard to see why.
My personal favorite......Se Ri

No, they were playing alternating between the blue tees and white tees, our group played from the blue tees.

At the CN Open I know for a fact there was 22 ladies from Korea. Then there was 7 others from Asian countries in the field.
Not counting Christina Kim was is Korean but was born in USA.

If you're going to count Christina Kim, you also have to count Michelle (You've Heard of Her) Wie.

Uhhhhhhhhh sorry, we do not have to count her, she is not a MEMBER OF THE LPGA.
Christina Kim is counted as one of the Seoul Sisters. You can find that on the website.
