WHAT SHOULD I BUY??

With my B-Day just past I find myself with some extra cash. I am torn between a new softball bat or another new club. HELP!

I am thinking of getting a DeMarini EvoAX or the Titleist PT 585.H

What should I do?

I really would suggest picking up a Syn2 if you can find one.

I wasnt ever really a fan of DeMarini bats myself.

When does is the 585 set for release?

OH! If you know someone looking for an OF for provincials I happen to know a guy ;)

WOW that was fast DAN...

I called my titleist rep last week and he told me I can start ordering this Mon... I am set on a DeMarini for two reasons 1 - I get them out of my pro-shop (wilson rep) at an awesome deal
2 - I have been using the old evoAX this season and I have had great results with it.. 2 hommers in our tourney this weekend

I havent played this year at all so I dont know the new stock but the Syn2 was and is still an amazing bat and all the new bats have to be 100MPH rated to be legal for play, I think the Syn2, Freak, Crush etc were grandfathered in.

Any comp bats are pretty good, EXCEPT for the Miken Edge, I hated that bat. Mizuno crush was nice, the crush2 just took a little breaking in to get it going. The Syn extended was a little firm aswell but opened up.


Being a golf board, pretty much all of the people are going to vote for the club, might want to just weigh the options without going to the bias of fellow golfers ;) :eek:

The bat is a solid option, but the 585 is pretty darn sweet and you would likely get more use out of it!

I guess it depends on what you need more. I just picked up a Syn Flex, but that's cause I didn't have any other bat to use. My golf bag is set...for now at least. :D

He did give me cost prices but not MSRP

I would think they will retail for - steel $ 165 Graphite $ 210 plus tax


I am almost certian that I am going to go with the 585.H 19° in steel. I will post a review when I get her.
