Older style golf course, lots of mature trees. Good test of golf. Average greens, can be tricky. Depending on what 9's they put you on and the tees you play you could play a 669 yard par 5, yes a 669 par 5. I doubt they would do that for the tournament. Some elevation changes and it can get windy. Play smart golf and you have chance. I would say there will be some big numbers there. Much less room to work with compared to Copetown. I always thought Glen Eagle was a decent course and could be a great course if it was better maintained. I'd be playing but I'm going out of town.

After seeing the scores from Copetown, a LOT of them have changed for some odd reason.
The guy I scored for seemed to drop 7 shots and win my flight.... very very odd.
Oh well, I guess thats what happens.

dont get too excited, i was playing there the other day (former member) and the course was in terrible shape, dried out as hell and about half the greens were punched. and as for playing the long par 5, they never do for tournaments because it doesnt work in terms of where they would have to start people at the other nine which is a 5-10 mins cart ride out, and its unfortunate because the nine with the long par 5 is by far the best nine and most challenging. good luck to everybody playing, hopefully you dont get rained on to much by this hurricane thats supposed to roll in.

Ya but the rain could have been worse. I played such a bad frond of 44 and then a 38 on the back. I just need to get something going here.

an 18 handicap shoots a smooth 82. Seem fishy to anyone?

Not really......now if he shot a 75 I'd be a little concerned. That's the thing I've always said about 18's and under, they are streaky golfers. One month it can be pure garbage golfing and then all of a sudden just one game almost everything seems to click and you shoot a decent round.

Did you happen to look outside yesterday? With the conditions thats an amazing score no matter the handicap.
I agree that higher handicappers are streaky golfers though.
