I read on the PGATour news that Joe Ogilvie (http://sports.yahoo.com/pga/players/1172/) and Tom Lehman (http://sports.yahoo.com/pga/players/16/) have made it to play at the Augusta National. Joe Ogilvie was 9th on the PGA Tour money list after TPC, and Tom Lehman's tie for 2nd at TPC Sawgrass left him in 10th place. Both qualify for The Masters now. I just wondered are there any other players that can squeeze into the Masters? Which player that wins or has a good finish this week at the Bell South Classic will get them into the Masters?

Colin Montgomery might squeeze his butt into the Masters but it will take a special invite cause he needed to win on the weekend in Indonesia. He did fire an incredible final round 60 but didn't win. Was good enough for a top ten but thats it.

I believe the US Amateur champion gets an invite too. Must be amazing to get invited to play at Augusta.

He actually boegied 18. :nono: Colin made a par 5 on number 9, his last hole, which kept him from scoring a 59. He hooked his tee shot into some very heavy rough and had to "layup" back to the fairway. His score on 18 was actually a birdie 3.

While Colin deserves to be in The Masters, the reality is that the Masters has a cast in stone system for qualifying to get in the tournament and at this time, he does not qualify. Too bad. He needs a Michelle Wie "sponsor's" exemption, but the sponsor is Augusta National.:(
