hah, your lucky, my forcast for my 2 day tourney this weekend is wind at 35km/h and 35-45mm of rain. I think we might be sitting in the club house for a while waiting.

Not looking THAT bad anymore, although the 30km/h sustained winds could trick things up a bit. That and I don't tee off until 11:40 which is when the rain is supposed to start.

It certainly is not a good day for golf in TO. Hope it is better where you are.

Well tee'd off today at 1:30, made it through 12 holes before we stopped because of water on the greens. So tomorow I play 24 holes, and we'll see what happens.
On a side bar, if you are not onthe green and are faced with water on the green can you get relief in line of site from off the green? I was unclear and so I simply flew the water with my chip shot, I may have lost a stroke to this, but than again maybe not. Golf can get pretty tough in high winds and pouring rain.
How did your round go S31?

The round was so so, I sit in 3rd place in my flight after a net 75. The leader shot a net 65.
Hopefully I can catch him in the next two rounds, but if he keeps shooting lights out (compared to hdcp) then I may be in big trouble.

 Wait a second......the leader is at a net 65????? WTF?
He is -10 after one stinkin round?? For the love of........keep us posted on how this turns out........it almost sounds like the best ball I played at GlenCairn....
Winning team was at -14!!!!!!! After some heckling and booing, the guy that originally stood up said....and I quote..."well, it was more like -12....", at which point the first place prize was given to the next best team.

ha, this morning we had to play the final 7 holes and the next 18. I blew up those 7 holes, than played okay.
I fell right in the middle of my flight, so I'm happy with that. The guy that won my flight shot better than his handicap both rounds, seems fishy but there is really nothing on the line so it doesn't bother me.
This wasn't my club championship but a GAO event at my club.
