I watched James hit balls at the store last night. He is ready.

Id be interested in putting a small "sponsorship" together for James to make sure he has balls, hats, gloves etc in excess for the tournament and not out of pocket. (if he makes it into the top 4 tomorrow)

If you think he'd be up for that, shoot me a PM.

Dan,

If he qualifies for the Canadian Open...once he steps onto the practice range he won't need to worry about all that.

All the OEM's that are there will take care of him....they all want to see their stuff out on the course. :D

Who's James Chan anyways? Ive heard the name never known who he is tho. Where does he play out of? how old is he?

Jim Kenesky is who I would like to see go on just because he goes to Hidden Lakes with me and has home course advantage which should help.

Im thinking about 67 gets you in..whats everyone elses predictions?

My 4 picks are... Brian McCann (just got off a platinum series Great lakes win)
Omar uresti
Graham Hill
and.....I would like to see Victor get into it just because i got the chance to meet him when i played him in a playoff... to bad the playoff ended after one hole and in his favour :(

Hi Michael
What is the course record at Hidden Lake your home course?

James Chan plays on the Great Lakes Tour aswell as many of the other qualifiers. I was thinking that 68 would get them in as there are only 16 of them and 4 make it.

James recently won on the GLT shooting a course record 65 at the Highlands and I believe he plays out of Beverly Golf & CC. I believe he is turning 25 in September (GLT Bio)

Chan attended Temple University on a golf scholarship. He is a +4 at Beverley.

Yep. Free fairway woods, putters, balls, gloves and often a "usage" cheque for the week.

It'll be interesting to see if London's Alan McLean, who played Nationwide Tour last year and the European Tour the year before, makes it through. He's quite the player. I played with him at Eagles Nest where he shot 68 from the tips -- all 7,500 yards of it. He's the biggest hitter I've ever played with and that includes the likes of Stuart Appleby.

I went to the Open today and it was kind of disappointing, I should slide out to hidden lakes and see whats up there. :)
