What get's me is that it says in the article that the last Dino Cicarelli.Weitr tournie raised $125k but paid as much in celebrity fees and costs!
Why even bother inviting these 'celebrities' if they are just in it for the money. It's pathetic. You and me have to pay to play. These celebs have the money. They should pay too! It's for charity, after all!

This is one of the things that really gets me worked up. Why do these people (not just golfers) need more money. Eldrick will never be able to spend what he has now but yet he won't show up at non-pga event without being paid(driving up ticket prices). Why do top players take sponsorship deals that drive up prices on equipment for the general public. How much would you have to pay for a pair of nikes if Woods and Jordan just said "You know what I have enough just give a million to my charity". The same goes for movie star and other sports people how ask for more money then they can spend and the public gets screwed. Anyone take their family of four to a Leafs game lately or even movie? Off topic there was a story about a police dog tribute here in Ontario that needed $30k and there was a story about how Shaina Twain gave $5k to the fund. Come on, she sneezes and make $100k and she couldn't cough up the full amount.
I don't live in their world and I just don't understand it, sure these people give to charities but come on.
