Now that the Euro Team is set for the Ryder Cup, Thomas Bjorn feels like he was left off the team because of a personal reason between him and Captain Woosnam. Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke were the 2 captains pick. Read the article here:

Love the intensity and love to play in the Ryder Cup but why take it so personally? I would have like to see Bjorn on the team myself over Clarke but why the harsh words to Woosnam? I guess its mainly the way Woosnam told him as to the choice?

Speak of the devil, now he apologizes. Kills my thread now!

I really think it is a foregone conclusion as far as who will win the Ryder Cup is concerned: The Cup is Europe's to lose.

From top to bottom, the Europeans have passion, winners, experience, and characters. Even rookies like Henrik Stention and Robert Karlson have established themselves as multiple winners on the European Tour.

On the other hand, US has Woods, Phil, Furyk, and who?

Tiger is in a unique position: his opponents will be all fired up to beat him, they can fire at pins with very little reservation. Meanwhile, Tiger would have nothing really to prove by beating his opponents.
