I think Vijay will win, I also think that Victor Ciesielski will make the cut as an amatuer. Id actually rather see Victor do better then Mike Weir.

Wow... Team East is out in flying colours!
My gut feeling is that Vijay is going to fly high this weekend, coasting afteer last weekend's good performance.
Secondly, Furyk will probably compete as well.

Will someone from team west please slap this guy for me:D:D
I just got back from watching Mikey and I don't have a good feeling. Everything look ok buy something doesn't feel right to me.
Mikey will still win but it might not be a blow out.

I gotta think that Singh and Furyk will be right there at the end, though I am going with Steve Stricker as my pick. If it plays like in 03, though I have heard it is softer due to the rain (as opposed to dry and fast the last time), it is more like the US Open and so those who would do well there will likely do well here.

RCGA hired Davis Love III to re-work AG North for the 2007 Open.
As a business courtesy, why can't he be bother to play this year?
'No Love' indeed for the Canadian Open....
Ideally, most of us want Weir to win. James Lepp and Richard Scott are two young Canadians I will be pulling for as well. I hope Villegas win and thus increase the profile of the Canadian Open with the younger generation. VJ and Furyk are solid winners in my mind as well.
Last night's TGC had a pretty good coverage of the Open - they covered players' feedbacks on the course (which they all like). Given that TGC is not a Canadian media, you kind of believe them more because chances are, the players will be more forth coming with to the American media if they don't like something and be more polite towards the host media. TGC also touched on the challenge to attract top players next year given the poor date.

I really think that someone in the 4-5 under range can catch up but Justin Rose is on a rampage out there.

My second pick Sean O'Hair is looking good.
Maybe Rose and O'Hair in the final group again tomorrow.
Alot of guys just missing putts, the scores could be allot lower if some putts would drop.
