Had the pleasure of spending the day with Rockin Ronny yesterday. We took on the blue tees at Black Bear Ridge (6700+). A couple of brief weather issue did nothing to hamper our enjoyment. After that we jump over to the the most stellar Bayview were Ronny drove green on the second of two par four (yes Frank it was his first shot and I did see it). After supper we headed down to the Empire Square and caught part of the Bachman-Cummings show for free.
It was a great day with a fantastic friend and follow TGN'er. If Ronny is heading your way, be ready for a great day. If your thinking of coming to the the Belleville area, let me know. There is more to do then meets the eye, if you time it right. http://www.theempiretheatre.com/main.html

Wow what a great day! I hooked up with Bob and played 27 holes of fine golf.We played 18 at Black bear ridge then it was off to play Bayview a fun 9 hole course. For those of you familiar with BBR it is the course with the 690yrd par 6 in Belleville. This hole is a monster with no easy way to get to the green that is well guarded with water.I had my 4th shot come up short and hit the creek.Bob hit a ball into the creek off a rock and almost hit a big crain that was standing on the green.Great shot Bob. I must say I was impressed with this track. But the shot of the day came on the 27th hole where I drove the green with a fine drive. As we finished a fine dinner that Bob's wife Cindy made us it was off the see the Bachman-Cummings show for free.Lets just say I felt like the youngest guy there with all those seniors dancing in the street. Thanks again Bob for haveing me next time we will play your home course Trillium woods.

Mule do you want to play Timber Ridge sometime? I have yet to play this course and really want to give it a go.

If you like a course were you can see every green from the tee you'll like it. Only one dog leg on the hole course. Long and straight. Kind of a driver - wedge course. Greens are fast.

We played it on Labour Day Monday, greens were TRICKY, especially #2...someone had a 4-jack from 20 feet, not ME!!!
We played 18, then went back for their "$10 replay ($20 with cart)"...OUTSTANDING VALUE!!!
Great Course, beats you up in all kinds of ways!
...just wish it was a little closer to home, but, I guess it's not really much farther than Niagara/KW from mid-T.O.:)
