Finally broke 100 yesterday at Maples of Ballantrae.
I shot 95 (a couple gimmes from a foot or so, counted my penalty strokes, etc)
Played off the tee a little better than I normally do.
Irons were inconsistent as usual.
Putting was a tad better than usual.
My pitching & chipping were a personal best for me. (normally chunk or blade it across the green)
Been around this board for a couple seasons now.
Learned a lot from ya'll.
Played with a couple of ya, bought some stuff off some of ya.
THANKS TGN!

Goodjob HUYman.
It's pretty great you can analyze your game the way you did as well. It helps to know where you need to improve in order to lower your scores.
Whenever I putt well I score well. I may not get a good feeling at the end of the day from striking the ball well, but the score is never that bad. Keep up the great work.

Thanks guys!
By the way, what did you shoot for your second 9 - LOL
Front 9 = par 37 : I shot 50
Back 9 = par 35 : I shot 45
Luckily, I didn't think about breaking 100 until we got to the 18th tee (170yd par3 over water), I had 7 shots to do it.
I was golden, even if I put it in the water and went to the drop area.
I ended up with GIR and 2 put from 25-30feet for par to end on a high note.

good work!
now that you've broken 100 I think you will find it much easier to continue doing so.

I agree with this statement. I was a low 100 - 112 golfer at the beginning ofthis year, then a month and a half ago i was gettin close 101, 102. After I broke 100 at Rolling hills, I've shot 3 straight rounds below 100, and shot exactly 100 at Eagle's Nest!!! So once you break that 100, it lifts a big monkey off the back and you start to become more confident in your game. And as we all know in golf more confidence generally equals better results!!!
