Well, earlier this year a young guy comes around door to door in my area and is selling golf voucher cards.

I think they are called Smartcard......or something like that?

have one for a local course (Wild Winds) and one for Royal Niagra.....where both cards give me several free rounds with purchase of golf cart.....and quite a few 2 for ones and 4 for twos.

Anybody have any experience with these? I havent used one yet. Some restrictions apply of course......like fall golf for the Royal Niagra course.

the same company does them for our course. we removed to power cart requirement to get more ppl out. they are a great way to save some cash if you like to move from course to course. i know when i do the cashes every night, we have 15 or more coupons to deposit. its a good system if the time restrictions dont bother you.

I bought one up here in Barrie at the beginning of July. I paid $19.99 for it and only used it a few times as we got a membership shortly after.

I think I made my money back the first time I used it though because it lists 6 courses and you get four two for one green fees at each course (when you rent a power cart). The green fee was $56 per person at the first course so after the $19.99 spent on the card, we still saved $36.00 the first time we used it. After that~ we would save between $50 and $80 per time we used it depending on what the green fee rate was.

Not a bad buy in my opinion. (Not sure if they are the same all over though~?)
