Been playing for about 21/2 years, but this is the first year I'm playing very regularly. Never kept score before because the first hole at the course I golf (Harwood in Hudson Quebec) is a narrow par 5 - and I always mess up. But today i shot a 47 for 9.
Almost had a birdie on a par 4 (would have been my first birdie) - missed a simple two foot putt.
Credit the improvement to practice and the addition of hybrids to my set.
I'm thrilled!!!!

It was a coincidence. But your post made me think of posting too - Really felt good. I can understand why you posted.
I never kept score, but I'm sure I was NEVER even close before. Today there were no big bloopers - and some really nice shots for me.

Congrats to you buddy keep up the good work in improving your game.
I too have improved a lot this being 3rd season and i owe it to just getting out more and playing a lot. What got me really hooked this season was a first round 85 then aquiring a sweet set of sticks *J33Bs* and have it all fitted, but also having a great group of guys to play with that i met here on TGN. I have broken 90 a couple more times and manage to lower my HDCP from 20+ to a 15. So all i say is keep up the practice and it will pay off in the end.
