Maybe Vince isn't leaving? I don't see how he can still continue to play in Toronto unless he has a stellar season, a lot of people will be bashing him everytime he's on the court

he's acting like a professional despite demanding for a trade...too many players get so caught up in their demands that they become holdouts...ie. Alexei Yashin (contract) in the past, Evgeni Nabokov (contract), Gary Payton (doesn't want to be in Boston)...still I dunno how many ppl will actually support him now that they know what his true feelings are....it'll still create un-rest in the locker room and for the fans who come to games.....

I agree with Ego, he's talking very politically correct. His heart is no longer in Toronto anyway. He has to say what he said to the media and I'm glad management won't settle for anything and will only trade Vince if it improves the team. Vince also realizes that if he doesn't perform well he's not going to be dealt period. I think he'll come out and play hard. Thats his only ticket out of here. I also hope all the fans BOO him when he touches the ball. He's lost all my respect with his whining and crying.

boy will be pouting if the team gets off to a bad start...I've always been a big fan if Vince. If at his best, There is no player that's not a center that is better. I don't blame him for asking a trade because "the brass" have not done a good job the last few years (starting with signing Davis to that stupid contract). If Vince realizes that he's got a major rising superstar (Bosh) that he can run with and just plays ball then we'll make the playoffs.
