Finally found a link to the new course. Opening May 26th. Go to the stat tab and check out the length of the 11th hole from the blacks. http://www.blackbearridge.ca/course.asp
I also seen that Timber Ridge got an 11 ranking (if I'm remembering correctly) in the Toronto Star golf mag. If it's ranked 11 then they missed rating my home club Trillum Wood. But either way, golf in my back yard is just getting better all the time.

Yes they would it is in the rules of golf that it is allowed.

USGA Current Guidelines:
The current guidelines are these for men:

Par 3 - Up to 250 yards
Par 4 - 251 to 470 yards
Par 5 - 471 yards to 690 yards
Par 6 - 691 yards or more
