View Full Version : Spitting Poor Etiquette???

I noticed some PGA players who spit during their rounds. Is this considered poor or bad etiquette? I personally don't like it. Just looks rude since golf is a sport about manners and etiquette. I can accept it for hockey or baseball but I just think it doesn't look very good for golf.

It wasn't just DeMarco's spitting that got me -- how about the time when he looked down after spitting -- and then taps it down with his putter -- maybe that is good etiquette if you tap down your spit lumps. :eek:

It wasn't just DeMarco's spitting that got me -- how about the time when he looked down after spitting -- and then taps it down with his putter -- maybe that is good etiquette if you tap down your spit lumps. :eek:
Bang on. I was waiting for Demarco to adjust his jock too. I thought he was a baseball player. Rember John Rocker? He used to like to adjust his Jock strap. Last seen in the bullpen for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Is he still alive?
