I just saw Tiger's speech after having won this years' Masters. I have to say I have a whole new respect for the Masters champion.
Those of you who remember the speech Tom Lehman gave after being voted player of the year by his peers where he thanked god for his wife Melissa for years of having put up with crappy hotels traveling from town to town with several kids in tow. I had never heard a more heartfelt speech in all my life and it even brought tears to my eyes and I've never met Tom. He showed me a new side of Tom Lehman that exemplifies a champion.
Tiger's speech today was a close second to Tom's and anyone who ever lost a father would have had trouble holding back tears. These moments remind me to make every effort to make dad proud every chance I get.
