View Full Version : Which month is best for 2007 TGN tournament?

While the 2007 tourney is in the planning stages. Just wondered if people have a preference for the month in which they would like it to be held.

June or July, I can't play in August as I'm getting married and doubt my fianceé will let me play if it's on the same day. :rofl:

But seriously, I don't want to play any later than July......

No preference for me, May, June, July or August all work for me.

It seems to me at least 2 weekends of mine are taken each month except for July where only one is scheduled for now. So that's my vote - July.

This poll has had 93 views and only 22 responses. :( Even with people checking the results, that still means some people didn't respond. I guess I should have added a 'Won't play in tournament' choice, as the 'Don't care' option just means you have no preference regarding the month. :p Too late to edit the poll now I guess. So, if you have no interest in playing, please post a reply to that effect so we know.

I think June is the best. May is too early in the season, July and August: there is always someone going on vacation. June is right in the middle. My 2 cents.

We have had two of these so far. Both were played at Angus Glenn. Keep an eye out for the offical announcement coming but you can be promised it will be in or near the GTA. ;)

Scotty I just checked a calandar and there are 4 Saturday's in August in 2007...you getting married on each one :D

But seriously, I don't want to play any later than July......

Same here, I think we could sneek out for 9 holes or so... Maybey we could play as one .. you take the front and I will take the back.. they will never know :D

I voted 'don't care', but May isn't the best month for me; after mid-June, anytime/any month is just fine though.

Very much looking forward to participating this year (I didn't join the forum until last year's tournament had already passed).

I actually watched the whole thing(video). A nice momento of the tournament. I will try to make it next year whenever/wherever it is.
