Damned Frost Delay & Darkness!!!

I played Deer Creek south today. We were booked for 3pm, but they had a frost delay in the morning, so we didn't tee off until 4:10pm. I was having my best round ever, but we only played 15 holes due to darkness. I had a score of 78 when we finished. Ofcourse, relative to the rest of you, that's pretty bad. :D However, given my first half season goal of breaking 100, I probably would've done it today (first time on a course this year) with 3 holes left (one a par-3) and 21 strokes to give. Damnit!!! Oh well, it was great to be able to finally get on a course on such a beautiful day. :)

sorry to hear that...but I had the same thing happend to me last weekend! I was booked with my foursome for a 12:04 tee time and didnt tee off till about 1 1:30! :mad:

First guys on the course today @ 7:40 after short frost delay. Posted a 78 with a 7 on a par four on the front nine. I had hit my tee shot in the face of an uphill bunker with a lone obscure half dead tree dead in my line. Bugger! Took 3 swipes out of the friggin trap due to the burried lye and the severity of the uphill in front of it. After the first two swipes I conceeded to wedging it out sideways rather than try to advance it towards the green. Bugger.
