View Full Version : Any Places To Demo Clubs on Grass?

Lately, I've found that I am having problems hitting balls off matts. When I go to the Golf Town simulator or driving range matts, I am making terrible contact. However, when I played on the course yesterday and went to the grass ranges, I was hitting the ball quite well.
Anyways, I am looking to buy some new woods, but I would really like to demo them on grass instead of the GT simulator. Anyone know of any local stores that have a grass area? I would assume I am limited to the pro shops at the various courses.

Go to the range at Silver Lakes...
I was there on the weekend and they brought out everything for people to demo...

Does golftown or any golf store have a demo policy. Like pay the price on your credit card and you can take them out for a round of golf?

tk416,
Where is that?
mikejb,
I asked them about it once, and that's a negative. I would love it if they had such a program.

Cardinal GC often have demo days on the weekends. You can call Cardinal and ask them for their schedule of demo days. Last year, Cobra was there and two of my friends won a draw for 440sz drivers. Too bad, none of them know how to use them correctly.

really nice....
The guys at Silver Lakes were all really nice. Not really a demo day focusing on any one manufacturer but they had everything. The new 905's the Launcher Comp etc...
Call em...
