Hey Callaway fans....

I was down in my basement today, staring at all the old drivers that have made their way thru my bag over the years, and it got me wondering which of the Cally driver heads would folks here rate best.
My top pick still goes to my old GBBII... that thing was a rocket at the time. But I never thought much of the old Hawkeye or ERC. I still take my old Steelhead+ to the driving range once in a while to compare distance with the current big stick.

Which would you rate best and worst for old Ely's company?

This is an easy one. The BIG BERTHA will always be the one that was leaps and bounds better than its competitor during its time.

As you can tell from my signature, I still use a Great Big Bertha 3W off the tee. I loved it at the time and am only now hoping to replace it with an actual contemporary driver.

It took the TM R7 to finally replace my GBB driver, this was a great club that stood the test of time (with many PGA players as well) however the stock shaft would not meet todays standards and was prone to ballooning.

Callaway unfortunatly has rapidly lost ground to Taylormade and Nike in product development IMHO. The new forged X tour irons and the square FT1 driver could potentially improve the situation if they can live up to the hype.

I have been thinking about replacing my X-12 irons, so far the 2007 TM R7 & MX-900 are at the top of the list, however I really am waiting to see ballflight on these clubs in the spring.
