For those who need Golf in the off season and are not fans of the Tiger Woods Game, this may be just for you. PGA2000, although 6 years old has a fairly large following and because the game is no longer available for sale can now be downloaded for free. I have played this game for over 6 years and am basically addicted to the online scenario. Ladders and Tour events are available as well as over 1500 user created courses. Here is the link to burn the CD's that will allow you to load the game into your computer. With a little practice online play will bring joy to those that like golfing when you really can't. PGA2000 were the design team that invented the true swing (mouse) version of hitting the ball but also offer the tri click method that we all learned from Links golf. If you have any questions to sites or the game itself feel free to post here or e-mail me directly. Hope to see some of you online one day.

Hands down the greatest golf game ever. Sure the physics can be a bit wacky sometimes, but who cares!

Thanks for the link! I wonder if I can find the courses I designed for it still kicking around online? hmm

OK guys that site you got it from explains that you have to burn a image to CD that will be an option in your burning software. I think what that does is make it so that when you load the disk it loads like a regular game would. So bro what courses did you design? I have uploaded 21 courses for download over the last 5 years and I still design. My last course although fictional, I had a tough time coming up with a name so I stole Rocky Crest. I think mine is better than the actual course lol

Here is a link to a few sites dedicated to pga where you can ask many questions

the last one has course downloads etc... tutorials xp instructions etc

Creating and Recording Disc Image Files

A disc image file is a complete copy of the data as it will appear on the disc you wish to record—only it’s stored on your hard disk instead of recorded to a blank disc. You can create a disc image file for any type of project in Creator Classic.

Note: When making a disc image file, make sure you have enough space on your hard disk to store the disc image file.
To create the disc image file:

Prepare your project as you normally would.
When you have added and organized all of the files that you want to record to your project, you are ready to create your disc image file.

Note: A disc image file cannot be created for a large project that is recorded to multiple discs.
Choose File > Create Disc Image.
The Create Disc Image File dialog box appears.

http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/mk:@MSITStore:C:\PROGRA~1\ROXIO\EASYCD~1\EASYCD~1\ creatorc.chm::/images/CC_disc_image_dialog2.jpg

Type a file name and select a location for the file.
Click Save.
The Burn Disc Progress dialog box appears.
Click OK when the recording is finished.

To burn the disc image file to disc:

Choose File > Record Disc from Image.
The Record Disc From Image File dialog box appears.

http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/mk:@MSITStore:C:\PROGRA~1\ROXIO\EASYCD~1\EASYCD~1\ creatorc.chm::/images/CC_disc_image_record5.jpg

Select the image file that you want to burn to disc and click Open.
The Record Setup dialog box appears.

http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/mk:@MSITStore:C:\PROGRA~1\ROXIO\EASYCD~1\EASYCD~1\ creatorc.chm::/images/CC_record_setup.jpg

Insert a blank disc into your recorder
Click OK.
After the disc has been successfully burned, you are prompted to launch Label Creator to make a custom disc label or insert for your disc case. You can choose to start Label Creator by clicking Label Creator, or you can continue without starting Label Creator by clicking No.

This is from roxio I would think all burning software will have instructions on how to do this
