Who says we stop shopping in the off season! ;)

After posting about my Limited Epon wedges (http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/showthread.php?t=13418) and finding out that there were only 12 sets made, I began to seriously consider not hitting them and keeping them new.

So I took the opportunity to pick up another set of wedges just in case, this time from Fourteen Golf. Fourteen has long been known for it's classic looks and tour inspired performance, they have PGA presence and are the Number 1 wedge on the JPGA.

The original MT-28 excelled in distance control and stopping ability. Responding to the demands of pro and amateur golfers alike, the MT-28V2 has been improved in looks, feel and function. The crucial toe and heel angles have been altered to provide more functionality from a variety of lies and surfaces while maintaining second-to-none spin on both full and partial shots.

The MT-28V2 was designed for playability and stopping power out of all lies.

Triple Nickel Chrome, Copper Underlay, FORGED in JAPAN, milled grooves!

Cool commercial here showing the wedge in action:

I can't wait to try these out... OH and they DO come LEFT Handed!! :D

Again, very nice indeed. I take you are keeping the others and not playing them? What kind of camera do you use? I need a new one, your pics are very good quality.

I haven't decided yet what to do with the Epon's. I'm definitely hitting these ones though as they are so highly rated performance wise. Did you see that commercial? :)

I use a Sony DSC-H5 (http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servlet/ProductDetailDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=1002546)

It's all about finding a camera with good macro and lens and then taking pics with good lighting. :)

Very nice looking. Ernie Els used to use a driving iron by Fourteen:

Very nice looking wedges, I saw a couple of those on Ebay yesterday from a seller I have dealt with a couple of times, apparently he now only ships to the USA.

sorry but i would sell those wedges and get some others!

i watched that commercial !

they didnt hole a single shot......lmao :p

only just had time to browse your portfolio of club pics gocchin.

very impressive!

couldnt help but notice some srixon forgings and a srixon non conforming driver!

how do the forgings play?

how are srixon clubs viewed on the JDM?

Personally despite playing their balls i never even considered trying their clubs until recently.

I am very impressed with them.

But they dont yet seem to be accepted as a top class club manufacturer and all i can say is that their clubs seem to be of similar quality (ie brilliant) as their balls!

Somebody should be telling that they really, really need to be registering their trade-marks (including FOURTEEN) in Canada.

Same thing applies to many other smaller golf companies in Japan and the U.S.

(and I just happen to know a trade-mark lawyer with a fairly low handicap).
