Hi All!
We are looking into a golf trip to PEI this coming summer.
Does anyone have any thoughts on best accommodations for golf/nightlife/restaurants/golf, in that order (web sites welcomed)?
Thanks,
Jimmer

This site is a good place to start...Golf PEI (http://www.golfpei.ca/opening.html)
You can also request a golf guide which they will mail to you here (http://www.golfpei.ca/form_order_guide.html)
There are so many courses and choices of accommodation, it really depends on your budget. I was there in 2004 and played 5 courses on the island. One of my favourites is Glasgow Hills (http://www.glasgowhills.com/)
I am sure you will receive some more input from other TGN members who have been down there.

Jimmer depending on how many people are going I would suggesting looking into renting a cottage on the island for the time you are there.
The Rodd resorts are nice, but I think you would enjoy your time on the island a lot more by staying at your own place.
I will tell you where we LOVE TO EAT when we are on the island (which is yearly)
Dayboat - http://www.dayboat.ca/ This is a MUST. My wife and I went there TWICE during a last visit. The food is to die for. I had the best fish and chips every (I have pictures to prove it) and the best ribs of my life. The place is jammed all the time. So get a reservation and go for a lunch and dinner. It is not over kill and you will enjoy it.
The Inn at Bay Fortune - http://www.innatbayfortune.com/result.cfm?id=19 I had the previlage this summer to go back here again. Our first trip there was when my wife and I got engaged. The food during our first visit was so great we convinved the whole family to go and we enjoyed the chefs dinner. I think it was a 12 course meal that will be hard to match every again. This is the kitchen that was made famous by Chef Michael Smith (http://www.foodtv.ca/ontv/hostdetails.aspx?hostid=23495) which is fun to see since the kitchen was designed for him and all 7 feet tall of him.
In Victoria By The Sea the Landmark Cafe (http://www.victoriabythesea.ca/landmark.html) and Victoria Village Inn and Restaurant are both nice places to grab a bite. There is also a new restraunt that opened on the wharf in the town.
I know more places to eat will come to me and I can post them later.
As for golf courses my course list to play when I am down there is Glasgow Hills, Dundarave and The Eagles Glenn.
I was not a big fan of Anderson Creek, that could have been because of the crappy weather I played it in. I am not a fan of Crowbush at all. Brundenel is a nice course, but is a little worse for wear in comparison to Dundarave.
Here are some of my pictures:
