Looking for equipment blogger...

Hey all -- I've got a post up on my blog (www.ontgolf.ca/blogs (http://www.ontgolf.ca/blogs)) today seeking someone we're calling the "Gear Guy." Essentially we want to have someone write a blog about emerging golf equipment -- what's hot, what's not and what's coming out. This person would also participate in some of the site's other activities, including equipment reviews.

I thought this might be a good place to find my guy...

as he's mentioned in a number of threads, he probably doesn't have the "time", but we'll let him speak to that! :)

I've always found Ted's (Westbeach) reviews very insightful. From what I understand, he's also well enough connected in the industry to get some 'special' tidbits of info.

He's got my vote.

This is going to a rather challenging task as this person will need to have access to all the latest stuff, and be able to remain independent.

Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Looks like ontgolf.ca is in for quite the overhaul this season - looking forward to seeing it play out. All the best Robert!

I seriously doubt Swain has the time either but Jeff and Scott would both LOVE to do it, I'm sure.

I think Ted would be a good choice as well.

Heck, I'd hate to be the one who has to choose between them.

Hey all: I've had some discussions with a couple of the folks from TGN, but haven't found the right fit (for a variety of reasons). If you think you are that person -- someone who can articulate their thoughts, has some time to blog a couple of times a week, and wants to keep up with the equipment business (and all that entails, which could well mean testing new gear), I want to hear from you.

Please shoot me a note if you are interested.
