Not sure how many NFL fans we have here, but I just have to say how disappointed I was when I saw what happened to the cowboys.
Tony Romo misplaced a hold for a two point lead with about 1 minute left. He missed the hold and lost the field goal, resulting in the loss. I am not a cowboys fan because Giants are the best, but i have to say that i feel terrible for tony romo. A rookie qb who had done a great job filling in for bledsoe.
I think that there will liekly be threats to him and his family for this major, season ending flaw. Does anyone else agree with me? I would like to know your thoughs as well as your prediction for the superbowl finalists.

I hate the cowboys (especially mr 'next question' owens), and therefore rooted for seattle. Pretty sad for the guy though.
Both teams sucked though so not likely any superbowl berth.
Only people rooting for since my perrenual bills ran out of gas, are 1) the colts and 2) philly since garcia took over and is enjoying every min of his chance.
Go bills!

i saw that as it happens....cant believe it!! I was excited before as I thought they are going to get the lead with a minute left...but...that happened.....
Me and my mom are both cowboys fans and were very disappointed and felt sooooooo bad for Romo and the cameras just kept on zooming in on him..pretty sure fans will be riding on him...
this makes Patrick Stefan's empty nest miss a little better just a couple of days ago............
no never mind..it does not....haha..i still can't believe they gave the oil a free point..good thing they won in the end and its not game 7 of stanley cup final or something

Somewhere out there, Mike VanDerJagt is laughing his *** off. The thing with that play, if Gramatica had the presence of mine to block instead of standing there and watching the play unfold, Romo would've ran in for the TD. Then again, easy for me to say.

Any day the Cowboys lose is a good day!
I do feel bad for Romo but NOT for Crybaby Owens.

at least romo has carrie underwood to go back home too...he's been riding the bench for 4 years as a 3rd stringer...finally takes over after bledsoe sucks it up...He's been their MVP all year without a doubt. Next year, with Romo running the team from the qb spot all year should be good for him. Plus he'll have a chip on his shoulder from last night to give him some motivation
as for stefan's botched goal...HAHAHAHA...i think im crying right now cuz im laughing so hard. The announcer is priceless "Patrick Stefan...that stuff doesnt belong in the NHL!"
How do you miss an open net breakaway and fall, turn over the puck and have the other team score?!?!??!!?

The Cowboys palyed good enough to win.... until the last 5 minutes of the game. The mistake that killed them was the fumble by Glenn. They would have been better off letting the TD stand instead of challenging and having a safety and giving up the ball. Than again it's easy to make those decisions after the game is over :) I think next year with Romo being able to work with the team through pre-season will be good for him and the team. They need to draft or trade for a good cover corner to help that defence though.
The question that keeps popping into my head is how in the world do you prepare your game plan knowing the other team has the #4 corner starting on one side and a guy who hasn't played football in over a year on the other side and not throw a single long pass to your recievers? :hush:

Ummm the replay I saw showed Gramatica making a block to the right of the failed field goal snap that stopped Romo from being nailed right there....:p

Yes, I can't believe the Cowboys didn't go deep. They have TO and Terry Glenn against the weeker CB but they don't go deep. Parcelles, what is wrong with you...
Hey Fresh' the announcer that was all over Patrick Stephan is his old teammate Ray Ferraro from their days in Atlanta... The next day Ferraro was ask about his comments about Stephan during the game and he goes on about saying how much of a nice guy is Patrick Stephan but then he starts again about how that doesn't belong in the NHL etc.... lol
Go Chargers....

Actually, gramatica did block in the back field. According to the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvHV4c04G6s you can see the gramatica made an effort to get romo into the endzone to score.
Quite honestly, Romo is not the slowest qb in the league but the seattle players coming from behind and to the side must have scared him, plus the fact that he just totally botched a 19 yard field goal kick to lose first round in the playoffs.
The cowboys havent gotten past the first round of the NFC playoffs for 20 years. THe last time they did it was in 1996 when they beat the minessots vikings 40-15.
As for the missed goal. Its all bad luck. You can see how the puck bounced right before the tap in. IMO, the only amazing part of the video is how edmonton got back and scored.
