New Wedges? Help

I need a set of new wedges for this year and would love some input on whats avaliable out there. I have a 6 handicap and am thinking 52 and 58. I have played the clevland cg-10 and loved them. I played the titliest spinmilled this past year and it took a while but got on to them. I just had my 54 bent to 52 and I hate it so I've decided to get something new.:help: Any suggestions?

What did you find different with the spin mills?

Do you have any preference as far as finish is concerned, and special grind you want or bounce/loft combos? There's a ton of wedges out there.

I use Mizuno personally and really like them. MP and MPT for me though, not sure I like the newer MPR wedges. If you like cg-10 wedges, why not just pick up the same wedges with appropriate loft? There are still the classic 588's out there as well. Anyway with more detail as to what you want I'm sure we can give you more specific suggestions.

:help:Good point....I prefer the oil can look and am looking for a 52 and 58 in a standard bounce. As for the special grind, thats what I'm hoping to get some more information on.

I think Bun you should just get the thing bent back to 54* and get the lie angles changed. Then you need to buy me and O-Dog a case of beer to drink at your house this weekend.;) :D :hyper:

Thanks for the help guys. I've been doing alot of reading lately and have come to the conclusion that I'm going back to a forged wedge. I used to play the callaway forged wedge before trying the cg-10, rac tp, and spinmilled. Looks like my new set is going to be the Kzg 52-7 and the 58-6. I'll be hitting them soon and let you guys know. Thanks for the link Mule56:)

Go with what you feel comfortable with... If it was the CG 10's, get them again. The wedges are you scoring clubs and you want the utmost confidence with them.

It is 100% correct that it is all personal preference, but I would still put in a good word for the Vokey Spin Milled wedges :P - most solid wedges I've ever played, and the spin is unlike anything you've ever seen before, not to mention they look sweet.

just got http://www.f2golf.com/set of wedges funky to look at and the 60 gives me fits but out of the rough ,ball comes out easy imo only had 10 rounds so far but 4 seasons open year round :)
