TGC going HD?

I read somewhere that TGC is going HD on Feb 1, 2007 in the US.

Just wondering if anyone else can confirm the validity of this.

Have anyone spoke to Rogers on this?

They are - for the thursday and friday broadcasts starting with the Buick - which happens to be Tigers first start of the year.
Not sure how / if / when it will translate to us here in Canada.

That's great news! I just hope Bell doesn't start breaking up their current HD package into smaller HD themed packages. Eventually when everything goes HD, I'm sure that's what's going to happen. ARGH!
