Have you heard of S-yard U101 irons? Are they any good?

Seiko S-yard U101 irons are forged irons from 2003. Even though they're older, used sets still go for around $500 in Japan. They are a divison of Daiwa golf who people here may know with the ONOFF line....

Scott the new ONOFF line from Daiwa and Yamaha Inpres X line are absolutely awesome.
If you have time perhaps you should go with me next month to Tokyo to check out the Japan Golf Show ;)

Tario...if you are paying, consider me your date for the entire trip.
I cook, clean, don't snore and love to play/chat about golf all day. :D
I've never been to Japan, Hong Kong or Tokyo....sounds pretty cool if you ask me.
And what I meant by shivers was just like a throw-back comment, meaning I was getting flash-backs from old equipment. Yamaha in it's old days, was top-notch equipment that would easily have rivaled the likes of Honma.

Interesting. It was mentioned to me that I should give these irons a try, having never heard of them I was not even aware that they may be half decent. At any rate I guess I'll give them a swing or two and see what I think.

I've hit the Yamaha Inpres X irons and woods from the shop in the Markham Golf Dome. They are indeed quality clubs.
