Anybody tried the PING TOURS in either Black Nickel or Chrome finish? Just wondering if they check up on short pitches or spin like the Cleveland CG 10 or Titleist Vokey Spin Milled. Considering about a set. Thanks

I've chipped around with them before but haven't played them on a course. To be honest, I wasn't very impressed. Although the Tour model is definately better than that iWedge thing...a wedge with a cavity back? c'mon...

CG 11's come to mind, the older ping wedges are another. Whats wrong with a CB wedge?

well nothing technically, if you're a 45 handicap - I just think it looks kind of dinky

Sluman, Azinger, Bob Tway and Hal Sutton all use(d) the Ping Eye2 wedge. It's the sole grind, grooves and bounce that count, amigo. The cavity is irrelevant.

DiMarco must be a chump as well, he has eye 2's in the bag.
The truth about golf equipment is, who cares what you're playing as long as your having fun and scoring well. I'm seriously thinking of ditching my mizuno wedges for Ping I wedges, I like them. They seem versatile for my game. Time and funds will tell the rest of the story.
