heavy putter any one got one said this putter was used to shoot the first 59 on one of the pro tours in europe ? true / false thanks

Ya I did hear something about that. I was trying them out and for the mechanical straight back and straight through stroke they're not bad. For myself I found them to have no "feel" compared to my wilson 8802:D But to be fair they are two different type putters.

I tried one and it rolled the ball well, just weighed a ton. It was a pain to carry your clubs with it in the bag. Yeah Scott you read that right, carry my clubs.

a heavy (weight wise) putter suits my putting as i think they tend to move offline less (for me) probably because of the weight/momentum.

i also had poor distance control and this has improved since i changed from a blade (maybe its just improved my concentration?)

but its true about the 59!

i think the entire game of golf is maybe 35% ability and 65% mentality!
