I got my free Toronto Life 2005 golf guide today. I was just curious if anyone else leaves this in their car or golf bag? I use mine like a bible to look up addresses and phone numbers for local golf courses. Do you know what I'm talking about? Are there other free golf guides out there besides this one?

I keep it in my desk to use for phone numbers on out of town rounds. Its always nice to check details on dress code, driving range availability, green fee costs, locker / shower avail and cost etc. I don't like surprises on days that should be great. If I plan to go to a "special" away golf day at an expensive track I want certain details known before I book. Knowing these things is the only way to guarantee a great golfing experience.

The Toronto Life Guide is great. I keep one in the car and one in the office.
Much better than the Star or Sun guide actually has course reviews to give you an idea of what the courses are like.
The ideal piece of equipment for the course "explorer". And I know this board has lots of them.
Usually all the contents of the guide are posted on Torontolife.com website not long after publication.

Must susbribe to Toronto Life. It part of the City Guide bous that only subcribers can get.
Annual cost is about $20.00 and you get some other great sity guides with that.
If you call them you may be able to get a copy without subscribing.
Good Luck.

The Toronto SUN puts one out too. I usually keep a copy in the bag, one in the car and another at home.
