I'm seriously considering dropping the golf channel. My 4 months is up and I'll have to start paying for it.
1) The PGA coverage sucks. KT sucks
2) The only thing I watch now is Playing Lessons
Anyone else considering this?

4 months? I got 2 years with out charge. Even after that I probably won't give it up.

I have no problem with seeing more than just the last couple of hours of a golf tournament, and I think Kelly is fine. I tune in to watch golf shots, not listen to the announcers. They can talk like Barry White if they want to, as long as they tell me who it is, what club they're using and where they're aiming.
Mind you, I'm with Star Choice so I don't have to pay extra for TGC in any event.:D

I think for $2.50 per month, it is worth keeping....
I am actually waiting for them to launch TGC HD (supposedly in February in the US).

If it's available in Canada. I'll signup again. I dumped it this afternoon. We'll see if I miss it. Don't think so. I'll spend my time at Launch hitting balls if I get the golf itch.
Thanks for the input.
Cheers All

Anyone know if Canada will get this and if so on what channel???
I've heard a couple rumours here and there, but nothing with any actual proof.

I had TGC removed from me when Rogers moved it from analog to digital. Over the months it's been gone I've come to realize that I don't miss it much. I may one day pick it up again but right now I just don't feel the need.

For $2.50 a month and your dropping it? I have the golf channel set up as the start up channel on all our TV's . Can't live without it. Just to watch Golf Central at night or in the morning is worth the price of admission alone.;)

Although I have Rogers I rarely use it, Showcase still has the TGC and I still like my fix from time to time.

TGC would probably be the LAST channel I would remove from my TV!
