I'm sitting here watching the Sens/Canucks game and the Tim Horton's Sidney Crosby commercial just came on. I think if was a marketing genius that came up with the idea of putting minor hockey players in Tim Horton's jerseys. All they had to do was wait for the next great Canadian superstar to work his way through the system and they have a built in commercial. Kudos to the ad exec who thought of that one.

I don't know about other people...I find Sid the Kid overly ernest to my taste in both the commercials I have seen with him in it.

'I don't control this; I don't control that...'

'5 more minutes...'

Both of them give me the creeps.....

I saw his clothing line at Sportcheck. I just thought to myself whatever, seemingly it's all in the image. Like basketball players and rappers, etc with thier clothing lines. I like the Jordan line, and of course the TW line.

Image is everything these days. I wonder how much he will make off his game when all is said and done?
