Well it's taken me months of shuffling around to finally get to a FULL
bag of clubs that will most likely play for this season. The only exception
will probably be the TourStage Z101 irons that will probably be knocked
out of the bag by my new Epon Type X irons that will arrive next week
with Axiv shafts.

I've also put the Epon Limited X Wedges on the sidelines as they are just so
limited (12 sets made by Endo) that I'm scared to hit them! I've replaced
them with Fourteen Golf's MT-28v2 wedges. Oh and I'll probably be getting
a couple of new bags to hold all the clubs.

A special thanks to Jeff at Fore the Golfer who did all the work on all my clubs,
spending countless hours fitting every single club to suit my game, including finding
the right shaft for every club and length, loft and lie adjustments on everything.

Driver: Epon Technity 460ZR 10.5* w/ Mamiya Op AXIV 6060L @ 44.5"
Comments: Best feeling driver I've ever hit and I hit over 10 last year.
this will be my gamer for the entire year and I don't see replacing it. Shaft
is perfect and has an awesome kick. Everyone who I've let hit this club is
in shock after doing so (including Jeff). :)

4 Wood: G-Field GFT-FW 16* w/ Japan Diamana Redboard Ion Flowerband @ 42"
Comments: Tadd Fujikawa has this club in his bag from time to time
(though he was experimenting with a Callaway wood at Sony).
It's far easier to hit than any 3 wood I've ever used and at 16*
I don't lose too much yardage. Deadly accurate and great penetrating
ball flight. Very nice design and look.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/gftfw.jpg

Hybrid: TourStage ViQ-UT 20*(bent) w/ Fujikura Banzai @ 39"
Comments: Very easy to hit and get the ball up. The ViQ line is very
popular in Japan for mid-cappers and recreational golfers. I love the
techie look it has in contrast to the clean classy look of the G-Field.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/viqu.jpg

Hybrid: G-Field GFT-UW 24* w/ Fujikura Banzai @ 38.5"
Comments: Tadd actually does have a 19* version of this club
in his bag. Clean design, also very very easy to hit and get the ball up.
All the G-Field clubs are very easy to work.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/gftuw.jpg

Irons: TourStage Z-101 5-PW w/ Nippon NS Pro 850GH 1/2" shorter 2*Flat
Comments: A combination of good looks and feel and performance make it
really hard top the Z-101's. I've kept the 3 and 4 iron out of the bag even
though they are easy to hit with the tungsten inserts (which the 5 also
has). Robert Allenby used these clubs a few years back. Soft feel and
reasonably forgiving, thin topline and minimal offset may be an issue for
some but I love the way they setup. We'll se how the Endo-Epon's stack
up when they arrive.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/z101.jpg

Wedges: Fourteen Golf MT-28 51v2 and 56v2 w/ Nippon NS Pro 1050GH
Comments: I have not hit them yet but their reputation preceeds them.
The number one wedge on the Japan Tour known for it's spin prowress and
stopping power. I can't wait to hit them. Would have been Epon Limited's
here but those are going in a case or something. Fourteen is looking at
building a presence here in the west and have an English site here (http://www.fourteengolf.com/) now.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/fourteen.jpg

Putter: G-Field Premium Zone #1 w/ Iomic Japan Grip and Comocome cover
Comments: I love this putter. The heavy 355g SUS303 head gives superb
balance and feel. It has a SUS304 insert which is soooooooo soft like butter
but designed to give optimal roll on impact. This putter performs. I left my
Premium Zone #0 at Oasis Indoor golf for a few weeks to let people try it
and one of Jeff's customer's ended up buying it off me cause he loved it so
much.

Spares:

Epon Limited Type X Wedges 52 and 58. Too limited to hit even though
they'd probably be the softest best wedges ever. I think kevy_boy on this
forum also grabbed a set.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/eponxwedge.jpg

TM R7 425 11.5* w/ Fujikura Rombax Tour Issue shaft.
Nice club but doesn't come close to the Epon.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/r7425.jpg

Nike Ignite+ DFI Japan. This is the second time I've owned this club. I sold
one on TGN a while back and had to get another cause it's now
discontinued, on clearance and it's a ROCKET.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/dfi.jpg

TourStage Kevin Burns II putter. Recently a massive clearance on this
sweet putter in Japan so I grabbed another one.

http://www.inpakuto.com/witb/kevinburns.jpg

TourStage X-Drive 340 w/ TourStage Z-Series shaft.
My practice club. Smaller head helps me develop accuracy on hitting the sweetspot.
Bridgestone J33R 10.5 w/ Fujikura Fit-On e150. This club is permanently in
the trunk of my car in case I drive by a driving range and feel like stopping
to hit some balls.
Various woods, hybrids, irons... wife is getting upset over the crowding
in the basement!!! :)

would love to get the headcovers like the ones you have on your putter. Where did you find them?

They are the same putter covers used by Paula Creamer, Ai Miyazato, Julieta Granada, Shigeki Maruyama and others. Very high quality.

Their site is here: http://www.comocome.com , there are around 6 pages of anser and neo mallet covers.

The Japanese retail prices are listed there + shipping but I can help you get them for less... just PM me.

Yes I have a set of these as well. Like you, I have decided not to hit them. I haven't even decided if I'm going to put shafts in them. They're still in the bubble wrap sitting in the box that TourSpecGolf's Chris sent them in. So I'm still looking for a set of wedges to play.

They are so pretty and shiny aren't they? When they first arrived, I took one look at them, found out there were only 12 sets and said I better get another set of wedges! :D

LOL. I said that too. However buying a new driver, shafts, set of irons, and fairway woods have gotten in the way of that. The new Epon Technity wedges do have me tempted though.

WOW! Those clubs and that bag have so much BLING BLING that it's SCREAMING out loud "STEAL ME! STEAL ME!" Better buy a chain and lock and some insurance if you play public courses! Those are some sweeet sticks.

Honestly since I don't know everything or very little about these types of clubs... I do have to say WOW!!!!

The closest thing that I know are Naks and I have some of them but one of those hybrids look sick...

Quick question though pm me if you can... But with these brands are they super expensive compare to OEM clubs???

Also, I will pm me you about if you can help with the shipping of the putter head cover.

Thank you.

It won't clash persay but the golfing gods will surely send your game into the dumps for mixing and matching.

Only those with Tourstage clubs deserve such a nice bag :D:D

I know what happened here. :p

Some poor bugger came into GT looking to trade those bad boys in, you gave him the Global Golf value ..... he puked, and you bought them with a tad bit higher bid of your own  :shhh: :hush: :D

Can't say I wouldn't have done the same.

BTW, the smilies on here are WEAK, at best!

Wrongo, Swami. :D These came from an associate of mine who lives just west of Lincoln Nebraska. Except for my own brand of loft tweaking to modern spec's(21*-48*), they are identical to a set I owned in Oklahoma City way back in 1984.

As for Global Golf, all GT employees are strictly forbidden from buying trades, NO EXCEPTIONS.

These were made from 1982-1984 in Ft. Worth and were the last set Mr. Hogan had direct influence over. Legend has it that most of their Staff club pro's could not hit the long irons. I do not find them that difficult. The "PC" stands for percussion center as the sweet spot is exactly in the middle of the blade. :help:

Great forgings and with the tweaked lies are the equal of any modern blade in trajectory and distance control.

Well, at least I know I haven't lost the edge...from my first guess I knew those were the FW Hogan's. Sweet blades, and I agree the long irons were not that difficult to hit.

You should get those bad-boys refinished, they'd look killer afterwards.

They are much better in person than the pic's indicate with no chrome loss and are still very shiney.
