It's January and we are in the middle of the season where I pay for my love of golf. How do I pay? The never ending "honey do list", that's how.

Today I finished the remodel of the master bedroom. What's still to be done. Well the upstairs bathroom needs new paint, ceramic tile floor and a new light fixture.

The house needs new shingles. That one will be contracted out. It's not a job I enjoy.

My wife would also like a new front porch. We'll see about that one. That could be worth a trip down south next winter.

I feel your pain Jim. So far I have done the spare room and have my daughters room next. But having the summer off (almost) from the honey do list is so worth it.

I just finished painting and putting up base & crown moulding in the kithcen. Next is putting a new floor down in the living room, and then painting the bed room. The "Honey-do" list seems never-ending.:( At least it allows me to free up my time during the golf season.:D

Lucky for me that I actually enjoy all these projects around the house. It helps to pass the winter months by, keeps the wife happy and increases the value of our home.

I hear your pain, on top of my summer golfing, I 've been taking a winter golf trip for the last three years (and hope it continues). I have to deal with the Honey Do List too, but I think it will be wise to send my wife to a weekend SPA or something like that...
