What a story. To think that some regular Joe has claimed a brand new motorcycle makes me smile. I suspect that they won't be allowed to keep their booty though.
When I was in the Navy we would hope to come upon a freighter that the crew had abandoned so we could salvage it. Ofcourse the gov't would keep the lions share but each crewman would get a cut of it.
