Its not every day there is a guy on tour with TV coverage that I never heard of. Who the heck IS this guy? Did he just fall out of the sky and Monday qualify or what? He's NOT a great putter either from what I'm seeing as he leaves another one rediculously short from 15 feet. :hush:

from what i heard, he was putting very well in round 1 & 2, but man today i saw him leave himself very long and unneccesary second putts to make it very stressful upon himself!

He won on the nationwide tour last year and earned his card via the top 20 on the Nationwide tour money list.

He has been around for quite a while, mostly in Australia and Nationwide Tour as mentioned by Andru.

Anyone who makes it to the big tour is a monster player. The tour is deep with talent, and so it doesn't surprise me when a relative unknown heads a leaderboard. And as a personal aside, I love it when guys like Gavin Coles--bespectacled, and not in "gym" shape--are playing well.
