I am just wondering how you are suppose to hold you wedge when your stamping it. I tried to put it in a vice but it didn't work right. Then I tried to put in on a work bench wit the face down flat on the bench but the bench was not strong enough to take that much force with the hammer so it would just vibrate when I hit the stamp. How do you do it?

a bench is fine, you might want to make a wooden block to hold the wedge such that the surface you are stamping is held flat. If you're bench is not strong enough, reinforce it. Make your block (or jig) such that the face you are stamping is flat (horizontal) and also make sure that there is some meat to it to hold the area where the force will be applied, which will basically be the area at the lowest point of the angle surface.

Personalizing his wedges with his initials is my guess. :D

Use two-sided tape to hold it to your workbench and make sure to use a hammer that's very heavy. I have a 5lb hammer that a buddy of mine used to do his entire set of irons. Turned out really well. I turn over my equipment too often to personalize any of it. I turn over my equipment too often to personalize any of it.
You might want to practice on a couple of beater Play it Again Sports specials though. You have to hit the club harder than you think and you only have one shot at it. Hope you don't have the hammer yips.
