Hey Everyone,

I've been hiding in the shadows for a couple of months now, so I guess it's about time to step out. I live in Mississauga and have been playing for about 3 years, but last year was the first that I was interested enough to play more than 10 rounds (ended up being about 60, finishing in January). The only person that I've met from here is Leftygolfer30, who is a friend of the family, but hopefully I'll run in to a few of you this coming season. Anyways, I guess to perhaps start a discussion, I was wondering where and when any of you opened the season last year. I was hoping to get an idea of when the weather usually gets warm enough for a few of the courses to open. I'm thinking mine was in mid April at Oakville Executive (a Ho-Hum par 63, but Ho-Hum golf is better than no golf).

Hey strugglin - welcome. Last year my first round was in the rain at Castlemore April 12th or 13th. I got soaked, but it was worth it. :p

Hello Strugglin,
Welcome to the board. I think by now a lot of us are asking the same question, "when is opening day going to be." I know I drove by my home course the other day to see how the club house reno's are going (looks sweet). Glad to have you out of the cold shadows and we'll let us know about the openings as soon as we do, promise.
Mule
