I have a Golfsmith 1K driver for sale

This is a HUGE illegal club. Although it's not intended to replace your current driver it's great fun and conversation starter

I built this one last year to bring with me to our Myrtle Beach tour, we used it to do the inaugural ceremonial drive on the first course and we had a longest drive competition on a couple of courses where everybody was asked to hit this "monster"

You can imagine the faces of the people looking at us.... and asking "is that legal??" LOL

I bet someone can have great fun with it this summer

Asking price is C$150.00 (no trades thanks, I need money since I have some new Wishon clubs coming)

Pick up can be arranged at Georgetown, Mississauga or North York (400 and Steeles)

I could also ship at an additional cost

Here are some of the specs and pictures

It comes with the original headcover, however it has two small paint spots (white I had a little accident while painting my old house LOL)

For anyone who cares I have almost 900 feedback on eBay click here (http://feedback.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=long_hitter&ssPageName=STRK:ME:UFS) to check.

The head made of 6-4 titanium and allows for lots of fun, letting you tee it high and let it fly.
While it features a massive 79.5mm face height and 133mm front to back breadth, it still passes normal durability testing for driver heads.
The head weight is 315 grams and a especially designed .370" tip wood shaft manufactured by UST has been used for both display and actual performance.

Brand: Golfsmith
Model: 1000cc 1K
Condition: 9 /10
Makeup/Loft: 11.5* Driver
Dexterity: Men's Right Handed
Shaft: 1K Wood Shaft by UST - STIFF Flex
Grip: Golf Pride - Decade Multi-Compound Cord Grip
Length/Lie: Std (45")/Standard

Hi, do you hit it as far as your regular driver? I am kinda interested and know it is not legal for tourny play but looks like fun ifit works just as well.

Thanks for your time, Ed

Saw that sucker too when I was at GolfSmith a couple of weeks ago. You can tee up 2 balls with that thing (provisional ball at the go!) Would be a great conversation piece that's for sure!

You have to swing really easy, the head is 300grms (50% more than a regular driver)

The shaft was designed for it, it's supposed to be stiff but it's more like extra stiff (although with the weight plays more like a regular shaft)

Some of the guys that were in my Myrtle Beach group hit the sucker as long if not more than their regular drivers.

It's more of a conversation piece and a big boy's toy than anything.

You should see the face of the starters when you pull this monster on the first tee !!! some just start laughing, some ask where to get one and of course there are the ones that are quick to let you know that they don't think that's legal (Doh!)

I had my fun with it, now it's time to let it go and get more toys...

(New Wishon Hybrids and wedges coming, along with forged Snake Eye 600XCs)

I just realized this is still in the basement ....

Any takers? great for fundraising tournaments ! (i.e. $X.00 to hit it on a separate longest drive contest)

Will keep it for a couple of days, then will put on eBay
