I played at Parkview (valley course) today, and the conditions were terrible. A bunch of the greens were almost entirely brown, and there were two holes that had temporary tee boxes setup. They have a bulletin board saying that they had extensive green damage, but it would've been nice to know when I was booking to tee time. They were charging full price as well.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the golf course owner always wins. Your right people don't really go out of their way to inform you correctly when you book your tee time. Well I guess the person in the proshop wouldn't have a job for very long if the owner over heard them telling everyone the course is crap. Courses tend to base their rates on the time of year rather than the condition of the course. Hey look it's May, Full pop even if the greens still have ski marks in them. Not fair.

That sucks, full rate when poor conditions exist is pure greed on the part of the owners.:( I have not been there for a while except once late in the fall last year, played the upper course that day, conditions were good but the weather sucked.

Parkview is way overpriced! But then again at least you didnt play Upper course and have the killer geese attack! I'll take brown greens rather than Poop on the fairways/rough/greens all over the place basically!

I played Parkview Upper last Sunday. Since I wanted to play so badly, I was scrambling to find a tee time basically anywhere. It wasn't that bad. The good thing was that we had twilight booking (around 4 pm) and paid only $38. I wasn't sure if we could finished all 18 holes but we did. So, it ended up to be a good day for us....

I also hate it when booking and they "forget" to tell you the greens were just aerated. Wily.I played at Parkview (valley course) today, and the conditions were terrible.
