I wish someone would design hip golf clothes and accessories. The clothes now are so plain and stuffy. I bet a designer who can come up with funky designs that look flattering and isn't too outrageous for golf courses would be very successful... but can something be funky and not outragous for stuffy golf courses...?

For ladies, there's a player named Jennifer Rosales (a filipino lady) whose really dressing very funky on every course...she seems to be trying to set a new trend in the LPGA and other younger players love her outfits
Check out some of her outfits:

Wonder why it is that ppl don't like her style but would like to see something diff't.....if we saw this outfit on the basketball court, we wouldn't second guess it.....
Is it possible that most of us have already ingrained what most ppl to perceive is the image of the sport of golf and that's why we can't accept this outfit? hmmmmmmm

I agree. I think its pretty neat how she's dressing differently. I think the sport of golf and the people governing the sport are still old school. They're probably 60yr old, white haired dudes who still think very traditionally. Would be good to see a younger generation of star golfers like Tiger, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, Michelle Wie and others to start setting the trend and make golf change like the way Serena Williams is doing in tennis.

hmm I dunno Focker...that doesn't look different. They changed the fabric to Mojave. But the style and cut and fit still say 'boring' to me.
Ems, try this website. It's by a Canadian designer from Toronto! They have feminine designs and colors and also fitted tops. I like the racer back polo. For bottoms you should check out the flirt skirt. Short but still tasteful. :D http://www.orangeskygolf.com/

some pretty interesting styles there. you know ems you might want to think about giving orange sky a run for their money. if you don't see what you like, make your own. might be the start of a great business. definitely room for growth in that sector.

It looks pretty obvious they used a lot of asian models for the pics on their website! Orange sky also seems to imply to me some asian taste.....my guess is the owner is asian!

In addition to fashionable clothing we also want comfort.
Check out PeopleWare Corp in Sarnia, Ontario. Their website has comfy undergarments to be worn under sports wear both on and off the course.

Hey Ems, I think you should also check out Duffergear. They have a women's Performa Gear clothing line that has nice feminine colors such as banana, lilac, pink, and light blue. The sports shirts and polos have nice tailored fits. It's not funky but at least the colors add a modern touch to the golf shirt.
