Can anyone verify the tip diameter on these beauties?

I'm interested, but the shafts might be too stiff for me. I'd LOVE to know if my current shafts would fit in these.

If they would, how much would it cost to reshaft these per club?

Probably $40 per I guess. depands on shafts and grip. Could be more or less for some pulls. What kind of shafts are you looking for?

If I bought these, I was thinking of reshafting them with the shafts from my current set. That's why I need to know the tip diameter of these.

Unfortunately, the seller hasn't responded to my pm yet. :(

I'll try back soon.

Pretty sure it's .335. I stuck Rifles into mine without problem.

If you have the room, do it yourself. It's really not that hard. For the cost to do it, you could equip yourself with everything you need, including a swingweight scale.

Thanks for the advice.

So between a heat gun, ferrules, epoxy, and a swingweight scale, I could have this done cheaper than having someone else do it? I have a hard time believing that....

I'd love to try, but I dunno if I'd want to chance it to my 2 left thumbs. :D

I was quoted anywhere from $30 to $40 per shaft. That would be between $210 to $240 + tax. In comparison, I picked up a heat gun for $15 at Canadian Tire and a swingweight scale at Golfsmith for $60. The ferrules and epoxy combined were less than $10. I now do all my own steel reshafts.

The MP30 Tip diameter is .355 Tappered tip. I have a set and I pulled the shafts and put in Project X so I am 100% sure. Here is a link of the tip and shaft specs for all manufactures, also indicates the stock shaft weight, torq, swing weight and best matches, I am not sure what you will be replacing the shaft with but it's a good idea to keep the swing weight the same. A shaft too light or too heavy will through off the swing weight. I would change the 6 or 7 iron (pic your favorite iron) first to the new shaft and see how you like it and compare that to the next club in the set. With a more flexible shaft your ball flight should be higher and also you should gain about 1 club distance. so if you reshaft the 7 iron and you are hitting it just as long as the 6 iron in S300 shaft but with a ball flight of the 8 iron; that's a good indication of a good shaft for you.

oops, forgot to add the link, here it is

Try 2~3 different shafts before you decide, $30~40 a club isnt cheap but getting them to fit you is way more important. Besides, you are getting the best equipment from Mizuno so take your time finding the right shaft

Mizuno Forged Irons are 355 taper tip.
Their irons with graphite shafts are 370 parallel tip.

MX-30's with steel shafts are definitely 355 taper tip.
I've ripped a few of these sets apart. Great forged iron.

I'd buy these but the seller hasn't responded. Perhaps it will curtail my impulse buying.
